DOKfest Munich invited INTERTANGO in 2019 to DOKaroundtheclock – festival films all-year program.

Seid umschlungen Tangofilm und Tanz im Kino Seefeld

….“Intertango“ lief in Seefeld als Weltpremiere. Regisseurin Hanne Weyh zeigt in ihrem Film nicht Stars, sondern ganz normale Tangoverrückte aus Buenos Aires und feiert in berückenden Bildern die absolute Hingabe an den Moment. (SZ online 6. September 2019, 21:44 Uhr)

Dearest Hanne! Your movie held me and my full attention in a firm grip from its first second to its last. The colours, the vivid cinematic way to tell the story, the excellent choice of music (tangos as well as others) to mirror the story, to dominate or give good reason for the protagonists to show their ambitions and skills – I learned about Pakistan history and tango, met on screen the Japanese DJ you briefly introduced me to in 2011, learned about a porteño’s home sickness during Russian winter… and finally some tears wet my eyes when the heroine told us that her boyfriend broke up because of her tango career and travels… 
I’d gladly see it once, twice or thrice – your documentary is a classic to be. 
In my beginner years I was fascinated by „Tangolesson“, but now as a slightly more experienced dancer… your movie seems more true and valuable.
